Hobo Park Marina—Starbuck, MN
Expansion of Hobo Park’s
marina required the City of Starbuck to
clear numerous hurdles, including an environmental
assessment worksheet, wetland mitigation
plan, and permitting assistance through
the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources
and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. A
new access channel allowed expansion of
the marina to nearly 200 boat slips. Other
improvements included a public boat launch,
moorings, parking lots, and lighting.
