Paul Bunyan Trail Bridge—Baxter,
MN
The
Paul Bunyan Trail formed an at-grade crossing
with the City of Baxter's Excelsior Road.
Safety concerns related to this crossing
prompted the Paul Bunyan Trail Association
and the City of Baxter to seek funding for
the bridge. The efforts of the Trail Association
and the City, in cooperation with Mn/DOT
and the Minnesota DNR, resulted in the construction
of the three-span concrete bridge.
