Sixth
Street Reconstruction—Dawson, MN
As
CSAH 23 (Sixth Street) is Dawson’s
main gateway from Highway 212 to downtown,
the City and Lac Qui Parle County made a
special effort to improve the corridor’s
appearance. This Federal Aid project included
reconstruction of the roadway and utilities;
additional improvements included street
lighting, planters, trees, and median irrigation.
The resulting design captures the sentiment
and feeling of rural America.
